Training & Development

At Lavin and Sons Construction Ltd, we encourage staff development to ensure that everyone is able to perform to their full potential.

All site based staff hold CSCS cards as a minimum requirement, however the majority also hold more specialised CPCS qualifications. To ensure continual improvement of our workforce, we are currently carrying out a training programme with the objective of all site based staff becoming Construction Skills NVQ qualified. All training is overseen by our Health and Safety manager.

By training our employees, we are able to enhance and create further opportunities within their roles as well as ensuring they are fully qualified for all work they carry out . Additional training can include, among others; First Aid, Slinging and Signalling, Confined Spaces and the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme .
